Love

For those who know me, they know that I'm not a real feelings type person. I'm much more comfortable with facts and the less emotion muddling things the better. But through different things happening God has been teaching me more about love. Not the "I get warm fuzzy feelings in my toes for you" but godly love.

From Miles Stanford:
"Think for a moment of someone who observes a loved one sinning against him. Wounded but ever loving , he forgives and says nothing. Meanwhile the loved one, although knowing there is forgiveness, does not confess his sin. Forgiveness is there, love is waiting. But now where is the fellowship and integrity of this relationship?"

I Corinthians 13: 4-8a (of course)
Love is patient, love is kind and is not jealous; love does not brag and is not arrogant, does not act unbecomingly; it does not seek its own, is not provoked, does not take into account a wrong suffered, does not rejoice in unrighteousness but rejoices with the truth; bears all things, believes all things, hopes all things, endures all things. Love never fails.
